Flat Stanley and my family had a good time on Saturday; we decided to cook in our backyard. We cooked a Mexican dish called "discada" , but first I introduced Flat Satanley to my dog named Master. We shared a good time together eating.

This day Flat Stanley loved the ride on the plane; since the day was perfect and sunny. He almost fell off the airplane, but Stanley held on because he was taped down! :)

Wednesday, April 25, 2007 was sunny, humid and the wind was very calm, so my husband and I invited Stanley to take a ride on one of my husband's airplanes. He enjoyed the trip and flew very high. I don't think Stanley is afraid of heights!

Stanley enjoyed flying on the plane so much the day before, that he wanted to go ride again! This time, he decided to ride a different plane. This plane was even more powerful than the first one, it was his favorite ride! He was almost going to crash the plane on a tree, but his quick reflexes saved the day!

Stanley thanked the handsome pilot (Maria's husband!!!) for giving him the privilege of flying an airplane! If it wasn't for him, he would never have soared so high in skies! He told me he felt like an eagle in the sky!
On the Bridge

On Saturday, April 28, we invited Stanley to go to Mexico with us! After we got his passport, we went to go eat traditional mexican gorditas from Gorditas Doña Tota! Stanley stuffed himself with gorditas, and he's still flat! He was very eager to learn a little bit about the mexican culture. So, we took him to El Centro, or the downtown area. He loved looking at all the shops, and also he brought back some souveneirs for the class. He was exhausted and wanted to get back to the hotel, so we crossed the bridge. While we were on the bridge, he insisted that we take a picture of him.

During our stay at the border, we visited some friends who were having party! Our whole family went, along with Stanley and my son's girlfriend.
Grandparents

Flat Stanley was very eager to meet my grandparents. I shared Flat Stanley's stories with them, so they were excited to meet him. Stanley was scared of their dogs, Tiny,Lucy, and Tiger, but he had a good time anyway!
